Wildlife 2

For the past 2 days we tried to tackle the ant problem and the white powder did not seem to help. A neighbor was under the impression they liked it, well some humans like white powder as well.

So went to the local hardware store and got something heavier. This then took care of the problem. We hate to discourage them to come into the RV, but when you have to deal with several colonies enjoying the inside more than the outside it is time to tackle the problem.

Besides the ducklings we had seen a log floating up and down the bay and thought it to be strange, as there was only one log and in mostly the same spot every day.

Today the log came closer and introduced itself as a crocodile. Wow. This close to civilization and not shy at all.

And just to make sure we all understood that this was not downtown Mobile, Alabama he brought his friend along.

And as if to state that “well, since you mean me no harm”, he decided to leave the water and give us a closer look.

The ducklings did not care and soon he decided to go back into the water as we stopped paying too much attention to him.

So we all settled down and enjoyed another beautiful evening watching the sunset over Mobile, Alabama

This evening, we had visitors from Hamburg across the street, touring in their Unimog
