Compass RV Park

After another month of “parking” at the RV dealer to work out the problems it was time for another “road trip”.

It just so happened that the roads and parking spots in our condo area were to be re-paved and we needed to get out anyway.

So we went to Compass RV Park in St. Augustine, Florida. A mere 4 miles away from home, but perfect to test the repairs and familiarize ourselves a bit more with the new RV.

And of course we had figured out what the storage bays are for and could now test the new BBQ grill, our zero gravity chairs, the new carpet, and the list goes on.

Placed right next to a small lake and fountain, the spot was perfectly shaded for the still hot Florida days and yet no direct neighbor close by.

We set up and had Rita and Paul, as well as Susan and Robert over for BBQ and drinks to test the new equipment.

And it was shady enough for Selene to enjoy being off leash and rest. Her overall being is not getting better and she needs to be carried in and out of the unit.
