Chattahoochee, Florida

Even though we got up at 05:15h and had thought we had the RV prepped over the last few weeks, it still took us 6 hours to load and leave.

We arrived in Chattahoochee, Florida after 5 hours for the 238 miles (380 km). When we started out, we had planned to stop every hour and try to take the driving easy.

When we arrived at Triple C’s campground we were greeted by Scott the owner and he let us pick a site. Clean, slightly forested, good water, electric and sewer hook ups.

REV Trip

This will be our first extended trip, with the focal point the 1 week pit stop at REV Group in Texas to fix the RV. We have heard mostly good things about the REV Service Centers and had the choice between Decatur, Indiana and Alvarado, Texas as the closest.

For this time of year the choice was easy. Either freeze in Indiana or have decent temperatures in Texas.

So we have an appointment for February 27th and they will keep the coach all week.

This will give us 15 days for the 1,100 mile (1,700 km) trip.

Reunion

Had dinner today with Michael and Carolina whom we met at the KOA in Kingsland in June 2016.

We have stayed in touch over time and they were passing through the are on the way to Michael’s next RN assignment in Central Florida.
